Description
Aneroid barograph for recording atmospheric pressure with a damped measuring mechanism for use at sea.
Measuring range: 955 to 1055 hPa
Accuracy: ± 0.7 hPa
Chart graduation: 1 hPa
The measuring element in our barograph consists of a set of 7 anemometer capsules with a diameter of 62 mm. This set is made of copper-beryllium alloy, which thanks to its excellent elasticity has been tested and proven to be the best for many years. There is no aging, hysteresis or elastic deformation. The effect of temperature on the entire anemometer capsule and the transmission system is compensated by a bimetal over the entire measuring range and for temperatures between -30 and +40°C (-22 … 104°F). All the shafts of the precision instrument are supported on gemstones, ensuring minimal friction.
Parts of the measuring mechanism are made of polished brass.
Wooden case in barge colour: 345 x 170 x 180 mm
The barograph is equipped with a quartz clock mechanism that can be directly adjusted for daily, weekly or monthly recording. The periods are 25.6 hours / 176 hours / 783 hours.
The barograph is supplied complete with a pen and a set of 60 charts for weekly recording, sufficient for one year.
